Here are the various ways to manage On Behalf Marketing, and it all starts with your dashboard.
From your menu, click Client Connect and then On Behalf. Here, you’ll see the brands you have turned on, stats on recent campaigns, and other resources to learn more about On Behalf Marketing.
Customize On Behalf
Once you’ve set up On Behalf Marketing, you can customize it at any time. Decide what brands you’d like to offer your clients for each campaign type, and turn the campaign on or off whenever you want.
Set up campaign types
To set up a campaign type, go to your On Behalf dashboard and click Customize On Behalf. In the next window, find the card for the campaign type you want to set up and click the Set up button.
Check the box to the right of each brand name you want to offer your clients for this email campaign type. Then click Save.
A pop-up will let you know that this campaign type is now active.
Set up service promotions
Service promotions encourage clients to book an appointment for your services. Only select the brands you use in your business to perform services.
The process for setting up a service promotion campaign differs slightly from the other campaign types.
From your On Behalf dashboard, click Customize On Behalf. In the next window, find the card for service promotion and click the Set up button.
In the appointment booking link field, add your online booking link.
Select the brand(s) you’d like to associate with your service campaigns and click Save when done. A pop-up will let you know that service promotions are now active.
Edit brands within a campaign type
To change the brands associated with a campaign type, click Customize On Behalf from your On Behalf dashboard. Find the campaign type you want to edit and click the three dots to the right of its name. In the dropdown, choose Edit brand selection.
In the slide out, check the brand(s) you want to add or uncheck the one(s) you want to remove from this campaign type. Click Save.
Turn off campaign type
If you’d rather not offer a specific campaign type, you can easily turn it off.
From your On Behalf dashboard, click Customize On Behalf. In the next window, find the card for the campaign type you’d like to turn off. Click the three dots next to the name of the campaign type, and select Turn off emails from the dropdown.
A pop-up will remind you that your clients will no longer receive this type of email campaign and that you can set it up again in the future. If you still want to turn this campaign type off, click the Turn off (campaign type) emails button.
A pop-up will indicate that the campaign type emails are off.
Add another brand
You include up to five brands in your On Behalf Marketing campaigns. To add another brand, if you haven’t reached the limit yet, follow these instructions:
From your On Behalf dashboard, click Customize On Behalf. In the next window, click the Add another brand button under your current brands.
In the slide out, find the Brand field and select another brand from the dropdown.
Select or deselect the email campaign types you’d like to offer your clients for this brand. When done, click Save.
Service promotions encourage clients to book an appointment for your services. If you select a brand for service promotions, a pop-up will remind you to only select the brands you use in your business to perform services. If you do, click Turn on.
You’ll see a pop-up confirming the brand's connection to OBM, and a new card for the brand will be displayed at the bottom of the page.
Prioritize Brands
To limit the number of On Behalf Marketing emails your clients receive, decide what brands take priority.
From the On Behalf Customize page, locate and click the Set brand priority button.
In the slide out, use the dropdown menu in each priority field to select a brand. When done, click Save changes.
Disconnect a brand
If you decide to remove a brand from your On Behalf campaigns, follow the instructions below.
From your On Behalf dashboard, click Customize On Behalf. In the next window, locate the brand card. Click the three dots to the right of the brand name, and scroll down to Disconnect from On Behalf.
A pop-up will remind you that this brand will no longer send On Behalf email campaigns to your clients, including education and promotions. You can reconnect the brand at any time. If you still wish to disconnect this brand, click Disconnect.
You’ll see a pop-up confirming that the brand was disconnected.
