How do I set up my bank account?

Here’s how to add your bank with Instant Authorization using Plaid. It’s a safe and secure way for you to connect your bank to your online store, so any commissions flow freely into your account.

Before you begin, be sure you have your online banking login information available.

NOTE: if you have any issues setting up your bank while using older versions of Safari, consider using Chrome instead.



To start the process, log into SalonInteractive and click Add bank account on the banking tile on your dashboard.

You can also access this section from your menu by selecting Ecommerce, Settings, Bank Account, and then Add bank account.

If you have not verified your email address, you can resend the confirmation email by clicking Resend Confirmation Email.

Look for the email in your inbox and click Verify My Email Address.

Read and agree to the terms of service and privacy policy by checking this box.

Next, click Add Your Bank.

The next window explains that we use Plaid to connect your bank account and gives you access to their privacy policy. Read and then agree to the policy by clicking Continue.

Enter your phone number to log in with Plaid faster next time. Otherwise, click Maybe later.

Scroll until you find your bank, or enter the name of the bank in the search bar. When you find your bank, select it.Banking setup - Instant Auth-12


If your bank is not on the list, or you cannot find it by searching for it, click Link with account numbers and follow the instructions to use same-day micro-deposits instead. The tutorial for using this method of verification is listed below.

Note that there are several ways your bank may choose to verify your account - all of which have easy-to-follow steps. The version in this tutorial assumes your bank uses instant verification. You can find the other versions listed in the resources below.

If you need to reset your banking password, click the Reset Password link at the bottom of the window and follow your bank’s instructions.

Otherwise, follow the prompts from your bank to add your credentials to log in, choose which account you’d like to use for your commission payments, and connect your account to SalonInteractive for those payments.

When your account has been successfully linked, a little wheel will turn as the pop-up changes from white to gray before taking you back to SalonInteractive to finish the process.

When done, you’ll see a confirmation that your account was successfully linked to SalonInteractive.

Now that the process is complete, you will receive emails indicating that your Dwolla account has been created and your bank account has been added.

From this point, you’ll receive any commissions due directly into your bank account each Tuesday.
